ベルリンを拠点に活動するコモン・インプリント（Common Imprint）は、デザイナーのサム・キム（Sam Kim）によって設立された、アジアの出版文化を多角的に考察するリサーチプラットフォームです。彼らのスタジオに併設されたリーディングルームには、1,000冊を超えるアジアの独立出版物が所蔵されており、誰もが訪れることができるライブラリーとして一般に公開されています。

本作は、彼らが運営するリーディングルームに本を寄贈した19名のアーティストやパブリッシャーへのインタビューをまとめたもの。寄贈者や制作者一人ひとりの声を聴き、彼らのアプローチや姿勢、そして出版活動についてインタビューを行っています。
