On a typical day. Royal Mails 140,000 postmen and women walk, cycle or drive millions of miles to deliver some 84 million letters to every address in the UK. Dogs were the most photographed subject, followed by the people and places visited on their rounds, In all 20.000 photographs were taken, and 240 selected by the British photographer Stephen Gill.
