A monograph by designer and artist Na Kim, who is based in Seoul and Berlin and is widely known for her design work on the magazine GRAPHIC. Published to accompany her solo exhibition 'Easy Heavy' at Kukje Gallery Busan in South Korea, this catalogue explores the artist's ongoing investigation into the relationship between graphic design and contemporary art. In this exhibition, Kim collects and edits elements drawn from everyday visual culture, reconstructing them into paintings, collages, and hanging sculptures such as mobiles. Through the installation views and artworks featured in this volume, readers can trace how familiar forms and materials are detached from their original contexts to function as a new visual language within the gallery space. The publication was designed by the artist herself.
