フランス人アーティスト、ラリー・テボー・マヴィエル（Lalie Thébault Maviel）の作品集。（多少前後はするものの）現代における「パン」を図像学的視点でまとめた考古学の書物のような一冊。我々の生活におけるパンの存在、その政治的かつ社会的、経済的、美的進化を研究したというには突っ込みどころの余地を残した主観的な百科事典（アーティストブック）である。

本書は、作者が収集した156点の図版がページ上に並ぶ。SNS、料理本、学習教材、オーディオビジュアル・アーカイヴなど、さまざまなメディアから入手したこのイメージ群は、同じスケールになるように印刷され、切り抜かれ、A4サイズという限られたスペースの中に手作業で配置されている。小麦の状態からパンを捏ねる作業、成形し、焼き、収納し、スライスし、バターを塗ったかと思えば、パンのバッグ、パンの椅子、パンの家になった姿など、さまざまなサイズや段階を経て、パンの文化や図像学的観点における様々な側面を、序列化せずにテーマごとで等しくまとめている。ページが展開するにつれ、これまでに通ってきたパンという主食にまつわる記憶が蘇り、コミュニティの触媒としてパンは機能するのである。

2022年に「SEPTEMBER BOOKS」より200部限定で刊行されており、タイトルはキリスト教の祈りの一節から引用した「私たちの毎日のパン」を意味する。

An edition like an archaeology of our more or less contemporary iconography of bread. A lacunary and subjective encyclopedia that reflects its presence in our lives and its political, social, economic, and aesthetic evolutions (artist's book).
Notre pain quotidien is a collection of images presented in the form of 156 iconographic spreads. Sourced from various media and mediums such as social networks, cookbooks, educational manuals, and audiovisual archives, these images have been printed to the same scale, cut out, and manually arranged on the confined space of A4 sheets. Transitioning from crumbs to wholeness, these spreads group together different aspects of the culture and iconography of bread without hierarchization, but thematically. As the pages unfold, a collective memory emerges around this staple food which acts as a catalyst for community—covering its production to its most varied uses.

Lalie Thébault Maviel (born 1995) is a French artist whose practice focuses on images and publishing, with a point of view close to anthropology or archaeology. Her reflections are strongly influenced by societal issues and alternative lifestyles.
