HIGH(er)magazine Issue No. 7 “Blooming” 182mm × 257mm, 96 pages On sale October 1, 2025
HIGH(er)magazine Issue No. 7 is a publication created in collaboration with the underwear brand “HEAP,” centered around the theme of “Blooming.”
It has been roughly 10 years since we launched HIGH(er)magazine. The small seeds we have sown over the years are slowly sprouting over time. While observing this transformation and maturation, we reflected on the act of craftsmanship within everyday life.
For this issue, we visited the atelier of Kentaro Osa, designer of the fashion brand osakentaro—which continues to create clothing as an extension of daily life—from spring through summer. While watching the vegetables grow in his garden plot, we spoke with him about clothing design, daily life, and life itself. We also include a roundtable discussion featuring Hiroaki Nagahata, editor-in-chief of STUDY magazine.
Furthermore, we feature visuals from HEAP’s first collaboration collection, “The Bride of Hell,” created with dress designer Hana Yagi, as well as interviews with Hana and her sister, artist Tsumugi Yagi.
In the serial feature “chat with us: BODY,” we interview former Paralympic athlete Sae Tsuji. The issue also includes numerous projects that attempt to connect with society from a personal perspective, such as a photo diary by the HIGH(er) editorial team and a record of a comprehensive sex education workshop.
Sensibilities, relationships, and forms of expression nurtured within daily life. This is a volume that celebrates the things that slowly begin to sprout.
