The third instalment of the documentary book series capturing urban typography, created by New York-based designer Joyce Shi. Launched in 2014, the Typography In NYC project is a graphic documentary that has spent a decade collecting and recording the typography shaping the city’s visual landscape—from scattered signage and informal notices to lettering on historic buildings. Featuring over 400 images documenting the letterforms that compose New York's scenery, this volume stands as a highly valuable reference for graphic design and typography, as well as a significant record of urban theory and vernacular culture.
