グラフィックデザイナーの田代祐美子による作品集『THE MEMO LISA』。本書は、作者の友人や同僚、英会話の先生など、身近な人々が記憶だけを頼りに描いたモナリザをまとめています。人は、頭の中にあるイメージをどれほど正確に描き起こすことができるのか。この問いに端を発して制作された本作では、紙の端に描かれたモナリザ、シルエットだけのモナリザ、美術館に展示されたモナリザなど、一冊を通して、ひとの記憶の焦点の不確かさがユニークに描写されています。

This art book is a collection of Mona Lisa drawn by people close to me, such as friends, colleagues, English teachers, etc. I asked them "Would you like to try and draw the Mona Lisa from memory?" and they drew various unique Mona Lisa based on their own memories.
