Pieces of Narratives / System of Culture

アートコレクティブ〈System of Culture〉の作品集。記録でも物語でもない、断片的に並置されたシステムオブカルチャーの写真がどのようなものであったのか、新作31点と、論評2本、短編小説3本によって描き出しています。論評は、ベルリンを拠点に活動するキュレーターのルーカス・フェアレス（Lukas Feireiss）と、中国・上海出身で東京を拠点に活動するキュレーター、写真専門家の金秋雨（Jin Qiuyu）の2名が執筆。短編小説は、文筆家の伊藤亜和、脳科学者の中野信子、アーティストの布施琳太郎が寄稿しています。

A collection of works by the art collective System of Culture. Through 31 new works, two essays, and three short stories, this book depicts the nature of System of Culture’s photography—neither record nor narrative, but fragmentally juxtaposed. The essays are written by Berlin-based curator Lukas Feireiss and Tokyo-based curator Jin Qiuyu. The short stories are contributed by Awa Ito, Nobuko Nakano, and Rintaro Fuse.


システム・オブ・カルチャー／System of Culture
2017年に結成されたアートコレクティヴ。現在は小松利光（こまつ としみつ）のアーティストネームとして継続している。小松利光は1989年東京生まれ。武蔵野美術大学視覚伝達デザイン学科卒業。コレクティヴ結成前、深夜のファミレスで映画やドラマ、SNSの投稿などについての雑談を毎週のようにしていたことがきっかけとなり、小松の実家の一室を使って静物写真をベースに活動を始める。
