Published as a special issue of the Chinese design journal Design360°, this 110th volume is the official annual for the 'Award360° 2024', a design competition hosted by the magazine. Focusing on the East Asian region, including China, South Korea, Taiwan, and Japan, it features a total of 100 winning and nominated works from categories such as branding, typography, book design, packaging, music, and experimental design. Along with extensive illustrations, the annual also includes interviews with jurors and award winners, offering a unique insight into the current state and context of contemporary East Asian design—a scene that is developing along a different trajectory to the prevailing, European-centric trends, shaped by its own distinct languages and social backgrounds.
