As a result, they come to share familiar configurations and expressions, blurring the boundaries of time and place.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIn this series, I attempt to grasp how such a sense of deja vu comes into being. Rather than emphasizing specific locations, I photographed areas on the urban periphery of the Greater Tokyo region—places that feel faintly familiar or seem to lie dormant at the bottom of memory.
