extended photoessay on artist, Raiki Yamamoto. Born in 2006, Raiki's interdisciplinary work includes painting, sculpture, installation and performance pieces.  Her first solo show “Untitled 1” was shown at Galerie Tenko Presents in 2022, an important new gallery run by Tenko Nakajima Glenewinkel that hosts international artists in off-sites spaces around Tokyo. The opposite pages of the photographs include a pencil drawing on a stone by an unknown, an exhibition invitation made from a paper bag, a denim apron with hickory stripes, ceramics from Valoris in the south of France, a plate with marks where it had been broken and stuck together, a quilt purchased at a church bazaar, etc. A dialogue between Homma and Okao, which was exchanged during the photo shoot, is included on the opposite page. Through the perspectives of each, this is a book that rediscovers the charm of the ‘things’ that Inokuma loved. An essay by Toshiyuki Horie is included at the end of the book.
